The restaurant was small and there are no reservations, first come first serve. The service was great along with the food. It's a little pricey but we had a great time, totally worth it. The flat iron entree was excellent. Really enjoyed the open kitchen concept and modern but rustic decor.

This place is awesome! The food was great and so was the service! Great atmosphere, great selection of beers and cocktails. The Bloody Mary was good and came with a cheese pita bread which was delicious! I had the Wagyu burger which was ok and the waffles were a huge hit that had pork belly and collard greens on top!

Amazing experience! That’s not hyperbole! Jordan, the owner, in on a Thursday night, managing, cooking, mixing the most ASTOUNDING drinks...just an all-around wiz...comes up to my wife and me as we’re ordering drinks. I get a great pinot and she gets her regular, an old fashion. This man asks why I’m drinking wine. He asks about the old fashion. When I explain that I’m just not really into them, he proceeds to tell me I’m in for a treat. He makes me HIS old fashion. I’m not lying. I don’t enjoy these drinks which makes me an enemy to this state. My God! This one though? Perfect. I had two more before I left! (My wife drove home) Then the food! My wife had a flatbread and said it was the best she’s had. (I did not get a picture, sorry). I had the special: a NY strip ordained with tomatoes, mini potatoes, and a chimichurri that was to die for. It actually went well with the pinot (Iris). The meal was not cheap, but if you’d ask me what I’d expect to pay for that meal, that ambiance...in Milwaukee? In Chicago? Much more. In Greenville...this was appropriate. I am loathe to race of this place because I know now that I’ll need reservations. We got lucky that there were two seats at the bar, but I will plan my next outing. I felt bad having not expected to find fine dining and only wore a hoodie.

With a speakeasy vibe, open concept kitchen, great service & exceptional menu... this is "the" hidden gem of the fox valley. Although you best make reservations if you plan on dining here at peak dinner hours. I haven't found anything to rate Field & Fire anything less than 5 stars. An excellent experience.

First time here. What a wonderful experience. Bartender was very engaged. Some of the best prepared drinks around. Ordered the Sophia pizza. Awesome. Hints of lemon, garlic, and arugula. Yummmmmm! Hubby had some steak special that he said was exceptional. Owner served us a free drink and was very conversational and friendly. This will definitely be a place that we will frequent often.

Absolutely blown away by Field and Fire Kitchen! I was invited by a good friend and didn't expect to be this impressed. Let me tell you – the iron steak was phenomenal. That plate was more than just food; it was an experience. Every bite was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The pizza was on another level, too. You know that perfect pepperoni that cups up? It reminded me of those little poppers at the arcade, but way better and loaded with amazing, melty cheeses and just the right balance. And the oysters? Smooth and fresh, not overly complicated – just pure, briny goodness. I don’t always get excited over oysters, but these were worth every bite. Then there was the udon soup, which had this unique, comforting flavor that just stood out. It's a bowl you don't want to miss. Special shoutout to Ryan in the kitchen – this guy knows his craft. It’s rare to see someone so clearly in their element, and he absolutely nails it with each dish. And lastly, the Brussels sprouts...wow. Imagine a caramelized, almost pretzel-like glaze with a sprinkle of goat cheese. It was a perfect blend of savory and sweet, like nothing I’ve tasted before. If you're looking for a meal that’s memorable, genuine, and packed with passion, Field and Fire Kitchen is it. Don’t miss out!
